The company’s Subscriptions article (updated July 7, 2026) lists what free accounts get: unlimited messages on Lite, a smaller distilled version of its flagship model; one selfie request every two hours, up to a maximum of two; 5,000 lifetime audio characters, about five minutes of audio; two Kindroids per account; and basic long-term memory recall without Cascaded Memory.
Subscribers get the flagship language models, a 4x longer short-term memory context, Cascaded Memory for medium-term recall, 10 Kindroids and 20 groups, video calls, custom voices, a 10x selfie cap, 1 million complimentary audio credits per month, and internet access for their Kindroid.

Kindroid’s help center lists two price sets. Bought through the Google Play or iOS App Store: $15.99 for one month, $42.99 for three months, $159.99 for one year. Bought directly on the web, with a discount: $13.99 for one month, $37.99 for three months, $139.99 for one year. The company also describes a 3-day premium trial for new free users that needs a payment method on file and converts into a subscription automatically if you do not cancel in time. Web trials also require a verified mobile phone number. Put a reminder in your calendar if you start one.
There are add-ons on top. Extra Kindroid slots and voice audio credits are sold separately, so a heavy voice user can spend more than the base plan.

Privacy: what Kindroid says
“We use secure encryption for storing your data in our databases and when data is in transit, which means only you and the AI can see it.”

That is the company’s own description, and the FAQ says staff only see encrypted data in the database. We have not seen an independent audit of that claim, so treat it as a promise rather than proof. The same help center says the last remaining Kindroid must be scheduled for 24-hour deletion, after which account data such as the global journal and your backstory is removed, while subscription status and currency counts are kept to prevent abuse.
